Native speaker week für die 3.Klassen

Schon seit vielen Jahren bietet die NMS Ottenschlag den Schülerinnen und Schülern der 3. Klasse die Möglichkeit, eine ganze Woche mit englischsprachigen Lehrern zu arbeiten. Heuer fand diese "Native speaker week" in der Woche zwischen 17. und 21. 2. statt. Erstmals nahm die komplette 3. Klasse das Angebot wahr und beschäftigten sich 5 Tage lang mit den beiden Lehrern Gary und Jeff intensiv mit unterschiedlichsten Themen. Ein besonderer Schwerpunkt wurde auf die Alltagskommunikation in der Fremdsprache gelegt. Ein wesentliches Ziel dieses Projekts ist es, Sprachbarrieren abzubauen und die Lust am Sprechen zu fördern.

Wie jedes Jahr waren auch die diesjährigen Teilnehmerinnen und Teilnehmer hellauf begeistert. Am Ende dieser unvergesslichen Sprachwoche wurden sie mit der Verleihung eines Zertifikats belohnt.

Last week weh ad our native speaker week. It was an unusual week, because two men called Gary and Jeff worked with us. Gary is from Manchester and Jeff is from Scotland. They only speak English and so the first day it was strange for us because we have never talked to English people before. In the first lesson it was very quielt in our classroom. I think it has never been so silent before. But from lesson to lesson we could understand them better and we talked a lot. I was in Gary´s group but most of the time the two groups worked in one classroom. We made some cool papers, played cool games and we always had fun with Gary and Jeff! On Thursday the groups were separated, then we acted some funny sketches fort he presentation in Friday. We also invited our parents to come. We will really miss Gary and Jeff because it was a really cool week. It was too short and many of us say that we could spend months with them and it would never be boring.
